Carpet Whipping

​Carpet whipping is the term used to describe the over-locked edge which is applied to a piece of carpet to prevent it from from fraying, it is a practical & cost effective edging finish.

We offer this service to the public and trade. We can turn all off-cut carpet into useful matts,rugs and runners at bespoke sizes to suit your individual requirements. We can also add a non-slip underlay.

Choose from our huge range of coloured yarns, wool and polyprop. We stock 100’s of colours in our workshop where you can pick a colour to match your carpet.

We can produce shaped pieces which include caravan carpet, motorhomes, stair runners, boat carpets and car mats. We can also custom-fit classic car mats, vintage vehicles and camper vans, this can be done while you wait if you require.

We also offer a mobile whipping service. If you cant get the job to us, we can call to you.

Carpet whipping for a camper van.

Take a look at one of our camper van projects. Our customer sent the carpet they wanted whipping to our workshop. Once we had finished we sent the pieces back. Take a look at the results.
